Ray Mounce is based in Devon and has run Horse Care Transport, a horse ambulance service since 2004. He provides Point to Point, Agricultural Shows, Eventing, Polo and other extreme equestrian events with Equine Ambulances and Fallen Stock Recovery. He is available for work across the South of England.

Horse Care Transport has 2 purpose-built ambulances with front and rear loading and unloading, a hydraulically operated body which can be dropped to ground level, adjustable partition and sling, drag mat and winch. The ambulance is 8 feet wide thus if necessary providing ample space for a temporary veterinary treatment room, and is towed by a 4-wheel drive vehicle capable of road use to transport an injured horse to a designated referral centre.

We have a purpose built fallen stock trailer and they carry sufficient screens so that more than one equine casualty can be attended to simultaneously. We work closely with vets and over the years have built up an enviable reputation regularly covering many Point-to-Points and other horse events especially in the South of England. Our rates are competitive, yet we are contactable and available 24/7 - 24 hours a day, every day. The reason? We love horses and know how to care for them.
Horse Care Transport is fully insured, Jockey Club approved with all staff experienced in handling horses and capable of assisting a Veterinary Surgeon at the site of an accident.
